Job Description : Role Title : MYSQL DBA Location : Gurgaon Experience : 7 Years Function : Technology Educational Qualification - Bachelor / Masters degree in CS/ME/IT/ Related Technology Key Responsibilities : - Experience with MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
-Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
-Maintain existing MySQL environments, including large replication environments for data mining and mid-sized High Availability environments.
-Develop and optimising database design for new applications - Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability.
-Assist in designing, capacity planning, and security and accessibility functions of databases.
-Suggest tools and processes for identification and management of database infrastructure components. Skills Required : - Professional and highly motivated, having over 6 years of DBA experience in the software industry with MySQL/Percona(5.x).
-Experience of Database Administration, design, development, maintenance and production support of relational databases, business applications.
-Must know different type of MySQL installation method.
-Strong MySql skills but also significant general system administration skills on UNIX/HP,Linux, AWS linux - Experienced in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity, and Database Consistency Checks using different Utilities.
-Must have Experienced with AWS RDS, AWS backup, Replication and snapshot.
-Experience working with AWS Console is a plus.
