Course5i - Data Architect - Data Modeling & Integration (10-15 Yrs) Bangalore (Systems/Product Software)

JD: - Should have good experience in modelling enterprise data across corporate functions such as (HR, Finance, Legal, EHS, facilities etc.) - Should be able to convert business requirements into conceptual data model, logical data model and also recommend the physical data model for the Data engineering specialist to consume.
-Must be well-versed with developing variety of data model design from highly normalized to 3NF - Work with Data engineering specialists to understand data structures required by data integration process.
-Work with BI specialist to identify data marts, reporting layer required by the solution.
-Should be well - versed in various data warehouse design schema such as Snow-flake schema Star - schema and expert in dimensional modelling, SCD design etc.
-Should be well versed in estimating the impact managing risks on the existing data model due to changes in the business requirement, data / system landscape.
-Should be able to define standards for data modelling including naming conventions for schemas, columns, abstract data types and standards for common data structures.
-Should also have experience of design test cases for validating data loads based on the business logic implemented in the ETL process design.
-Well - versed in Data Modelling tools acceptable in the industry (e.g. Erwin, Power Designer etc.) - Understand business rules thoroughly so that even the most detailed data elements required to implement them are identified, modelled and implemented in the DBMS.
-Should determine degree to which warehouse will employ industry based standard modelling patterns to model common entities across the enterprise domain including Finance, HR, EHS, Legal, Sourcing data models etc.
-Profile data quality of source data and specify how the ETL will resolve discrepancies between similar data acquired from multiple systems.
-Protect and enhance the performance of not only end user queries, but ETL data loads as well.
-Specify and support the level of meta-data management in the warehouse.
-Must be well versed in refactoring data entities breaking as few of the dependant ETL and query modules as possible. Must be aware of concept of Data Vault based data model design to ensure minimal impact on existing artifacts due to changing source systems.
