Product Development Sr. Manager/ Manager (IT) Designation : Sr. Manager/ Manager (IT Product) Reporting to: COO Location: Hyderabad Budget : 20-25 LPA Overall purpose and objective of the position : Opportunity to join a leading conglomerate in its growth journey. The group is about to embark on a diversification initiative to establish its presence in the tourism ecosystem in India via an online travel portal. We are looking for a dynamic experienced individual to take the initiative through the setting up and growth phase. As a part of this initiative, the person would oversee the IT portal development and management; both for website and App; would continuously coordinate and provide guidance, conceptualization, vision and roadmaps to internal technology team and outsourced vendors and partners. He / She is expected to deliver on the companys mobility, cloud solutions and digitalization initiatives. Roles & responsibilities : - Overseeing technology services consisting of: application development and support infrastructure through outsourced partners, technology risk management, budgets and cost allocations - Overseeing the day to day activities of online portal development vendor and providing critical technology and business inputs wherever required. Being a part of the scrum / update meetings and ensuring timely delivery of the IT systems - He / She would be responsible for identifying the future state of technology infrastructure and applications, leveraging the benefits of SMAC and advances in other technologies - Leading strategic technological planning to identify new technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies - Ensuring proper governance processes of the organizations IT architecture, networks, data storage and media - Developing business case assessments and cost / benefit analysis for technology spending and initiatives - Providing technical solutions to business challenges in a cost-effective manner - Supervising recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all technical staff in accordance with corporate objectives and personnel policies - Managing Information / Data Security Frameworks compliant with ISO 27001.
-Ensuring proper BCP protocols are in place Work experience required : - 6 years in IT in ecommerce / travel-tourism domain. Should have experience in managing online portals - Experience in machine Learning / Artificial intelligence, Payment Gateways - Hands-on technical experience in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis Technical Expertise : Good background in managing development teams on Server side and client side programming using some of the following technologies : - Python, ASP.NET, Java, MVC, MongoDB, MemCache, Red Hat Linux, LAMP, Joomla, JSON, SOAP, REST, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Native Android, Native IOS, Social APIs and SVN.
-Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobility Solutions, Digitalization, Web Technologies, IT support & Infrastructure is expected Expected qualifications : - Graduation / Post graduation in IT / computer science / software courses - Certifications in IT project management, IT audit, Information security will be an added advantage - Candidate having experience with an OTA will be preferred.
