3D Environment Artist - Photoshop/Maya (3-15 Yrs) Mumbai (Online/Mobile/Web)

Opening for the position of a 3D Environment Artist in a E-Learning Company Designation : 3D Environment Artist Experience : 3 years Location : Mumbai Job Description : - We are looking for an experienced 3D Environment Artist to produce high-quality graphic content that contributes to the overall success of our products.

-You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.
-The role is located in Mumbai India and reports to the Director, Game Development. Responsibilities : - Create assets and textures in line with the projects artistic and technical direction (references, documents, etc.); - Integrate assets and textures produced in the game engine; - Verify the quality of his work once imported into the game, and make improvements when necessary; - Use specific project tools in order to achieve best results and meet deadlines; - Efficiently uses the texture space and takes into consideration the pixel ratio; - Determine the objects and environments required and adjust the work according to the story and the gameplay (Game Design documents); - Able to fast learn technical constraints of platforms, engines and software; - Understand and apply graphic principles; - Use artistic references to improve visuals; - Able to micro plan and time estimate his work. Requirements : - Experience in 3D modelling (low poly, high poly, normal map extraction) 3D Studio Max; - Proficient in Maya - 2D skills - Adobe Photoshop proficient (ability to create tillable and specific textures); - Good understanding of mobile game engines (Unity); - Good understanding on scene Load and render budget.
-Good understanding of designing for web enable mobile app - Good notion of proportions and a good eye for the detail.
-Knowledge of the technical constraints linked to real time, 3D engines and level editors is a plus; - Knowledge of other 2D software is considered a plus; - Knowledge of Z brush is considered a plus; - Previous experience working in the gaming industry is considered a plus; - Thorough understand of software development / product development life cycle, agile methodologies - At least 3 yrs. experience is preferred - Should have strong Communication skills.
-Should be detail oriented and should work well with the team - Bachelors degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or another related field is preferred - Examples of work done if available on open internet will be a plus.
