The video editor is a creative storyteller who can convert the directors vision into a finished project. The videos that you create should be suitable for broadcasting and distribution in online channels. Location - Bangalore Company Size - 200 Roles and Responsibilities : 1) Edit raw footage into finished videos with animations and effects as required 2) Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film 3) Input music, subtitles, graphics and effects 4) Create rough and final cuts 5) Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running 6) Create and review shooting scripts and storyboards 7) Document and manage creative briefs from needs and specs of the production team 8) Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing 9) Regularly collaborate with the marketing team 10) Follow the companys brand guidelines 11) Consult with stakeholders from pre-production to post-production 12) Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency Requirements : 1) 1-3 years of work experience as a video editor 2) Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Lightworks, Premiere Pro) 3) After Effects and Final Cut 4) Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio 5) Creative mind and storytelling skills 6) Good interpersonal and communication skills Whats in it for you : - A chance to set up the video content shop and define standards/workflow - A ringside view into the workings of a rapidly growing, award-winning startup - A fun workplace with friendly, interesting colleagues, a table tennis table and free lunch.
