Birdres Technologies - Software Support Engineer - .Net/ASP/C# (3-6 Yrs) Gurgaon/Gurugram (Systems/Product Software)

Role : Software Support Engineer Description : Responsibilities : - Understand developed product features, functionality and variants offered as solutions in market.
-Strong understanding of DB concepts and should have worked on reports Automation.
-Execute product implementation lifecycle - setup, configure, deploy and release on UAT & PRD environment based on client requirements along with end-user training/assistance.
-Provide resolution to end user reported problems/issues post Go Live by way of detailed analysis, communication and troubleshooting or escalating to Development Team as required.
-Monitoring application processes, application logs and taking appropriate resolution actions in case of failures.
-Interact directly with Customers, Sales team, Product development team via phone, email, electronic mechanisms, or on site visits, as applicable.
-Document and follow-up of customer suggestions for continued improvements to Development Team.
-Participate in new product enhancements during UAT with the Development Team.
-Upgrade on technology and/or attend training as applicable.
-Any other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
-Provide support on-boarding of new applications and guidance on technical issues; - Maintain appropriate levels of technical and procedural documentation; - Work in partnership with another department as required ensuring the correct exchange of knowledge and successful transition of developments into production; - Work with project teams to investigate complex issues.
-Manage Support team and measure team members on different matrices. Experience : - Minimum 5 year of relevant experience in Implementation and Production Support environment.
-Familiar with troubleshooting application performance, network, or hardware related issues.
-Familiar with Ecommerce applications and/or Travel Domain. Technology skills : - C#, ASP.NET, Java script, HTML, XML, Web services - SQL Server 2008/ 2012 - Windows 32 bit/64 bit OS, Web Server - IIS7 Professional skills : - Excellent communication and good analytical abilities.
-Ability to work independently as well or as a team member.
-Strong ability to analyze abstract problems and find solutions.
-Strong ability to troubleshoot, document and communicate issues and resolution to resolve customer problems.
-On-Call rotation and work extended hours as needed.
