About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented Waiters to join our Food & Beverage team aboard a luxury cruise ship. As a Waiter, you will provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring top-notch service at all times. You ll have the opportunity to travel the world, interact with a diverse international clientele, and work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables
Present menus, take orders, and make recommendations based on guest preferences
Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner
Ensure tables are clean, well-presented, and adequately stocked with necessary utensils
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines according to cruise regulations
Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas for meal services, buffets, and special events
Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Promote and upsell food and beverage items, including wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Waiter or in a similar role, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or cruise lines
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
A friendly, positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
Knowledge of food, beverages, and dining etiquette
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
