Business Development Director, Water, Asia
Location:Delhi or Mumbai (Hybrid)
Position Summary:
Industries are digitally transforming, and the Business Development Director role for Asia is at the leading edge of this transformation journey with our accounts. The focus of this role is to lead Bentleys engagement in the regional water industry (focus on key government ministries, project owners, key engineering companies and funding agencies) with strong and domain experience in the Water industry. A major part of the role is to develop an eco:system of Water industry players including Utilities, engineering consultancies, owner operators, consultants, public sector, policy makers and donor/funding agencies.
Leadership in this role will serve to create clarity, generate energy, and deliver revenue growth for Bentley Systems water digital twin solutions in Asia.

ay:to:Day:
:
Engage with users of key accounts to identify, generate, and nurture new business opportunities through industry solutions, leading opportunityengagements
:
Map the Infrastructure Projects in the Water industry in India and key SE Asia regions aligned with Bentley 's strategic priorities. Engage with decisions makers of these key projects to develop opportunities for Bentley solutions
:
Work closeley with the Bentley account teams as the industry subject matter expert in envisioning the digital transformation opportunities for Bentley. Play an active role in account planning for expansion and whitespace discovery within Key Industry accounts and winning new business from project eco:systems
:
Serve as the Water Industry Leader in region and be active in a public facing capacity for Bentley Systems ensuring industry/market engagement is vibrant
:
Regularly interact with government agencies and accounts in conjunction with the Account Managers. Serve as an 'incontext ' coach toBentley Account teams for better account and opportunity planning
:
Engage strategically with key regional policy agencies, donor and funding agencies like World Bank, Asian Development and drive digital transformation thought leadership in the water industry to support the evolution of project workflows using Bentley solutions
:
Act as the pivot for industry information on trends, projects, and news, sharing information with the sales and marketing teams
:
Align with the industry product leadership and act as the spokesperson for growth in the
region, exchanging information extended Bentley teams. Leverage the global Industry Solution teamscapabilities and work closely with the technology experts
:
Build partnerships with digital integration partners to build an ecosystem to deploy Bentley water digital twin solutions

Your are passionate about Bentley 's mission, vision and story so far
:
15 Years ' experience in Enterprise Account Management/Business Development and revenue pursuit with experience in the Water Industry and Government sector
:
You can communicate an inspiring vision, understand how to leverage Bentley 's offerings and commercial models to achieve the vision, and set appropriate team goals
:
A proven track:record in managing and growing Govt and Public Sector accounts
:
Enterprise Technology Software sales experience with direct and indirect selling channels
:
The ability to engage at the executive level within organizations via your deep understanding of industry workflows
:
You have a collaborative nature and can build relationships with other stakeholders in the organization
:
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex topics and provide feedback both to colleagues and users face:to:face, on the phone, and by email
:
You have high energy with a sense of urgency
