Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator with expertise in file server migration to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SharePoint environments and a proven track record of successful file server migrations.
This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our SharePoint platform, as well as leading the migration of data from legacy file servers to SharePoint.
#Responsibilities:
Manage and administer SharePoint environments, including user access, permissions, and content management.
Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement new SharePoint solutions to meet business needs.
Lead the planning and execution of file server migrations to SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to end users.
Develop and implement migration strategies, including assessment, planning, testing, and execution phases.
Provide training and support to end users on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to SharePoint administration and file server migration.
#Requirements:
Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and best practices.
Experience with SharePoint migrations, file server migrations, including tools.
Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
SharePoint certification(s) is a plus.
ITIL certification.
