Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel 's India offices. The positions on the project will start as assignment in Navi Mumbai, Dahej or Nagothane.
Job Summary:
Career growth opportunity for a self:motivated, high performing Area Project Engineer with Vinyl Chloride Monomer Unit (VCM) experience seeking technical/leadership challenges in Engineering Management of a multi:billion:dollar upgrade/expansion. The Area Project Engineer for VCM should have a good understanding of VCM facility design and/or operation.
Major Responsibilities:

Reviews Engineering Contractor 's key engineering deliverables according to a set engineering design criteria utilizing approved engineering procedures, practices, and standards.

Reviews Engineering Contractor 's designs, studies, reports, and proposals.

Work with other PMC Engineering Managers to ensure that all interfaces between disciplines are clearly defined and recorded.

Co:ordinate the detailed design review of the facility and monitor status of Engineering Contractor 's Engineering deliverables with a focus on meeting schedule due dates.

Reviews Engineering Contractor 's scope and work plan for the process discipline for all phases of the project and make sure all specifications are met and standards followed.
