Hiring on E&I Technicians Role Purpose: To provide electrical and instrumentation support to CPI assets, with the prime focus being the facilities operated by CPI at Wilton but extending to other sites if appropriate. Under the guidance of the Senior E&I Engineer and the direction of the line manager, the E&I Technician performs the specific tasks required to calibrate, maintain, repair, and install equipment, and to provide hands on support to maintain and improve the reliability of CPI equipment. Key Responsibilities: &bull To maintain consistent and document compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental SHE, Good Manufacturing Practice GMP, Data Integrity DI, quality and best practice requirements. &bull To carry out routine maintenance tasks in line with agreed schedule, recording all results in the appropriate system and reporting back on any anomalies. &bull To take on responsibility for carrying out maintenance activities, modifications and calibration to existing facilities and will be expected to work to maintenance schedules based on plant demands and equipment specifications. &bull Maintain maintenance records through CMMS computerised maintenance management system. &bull Working to and maintaining GMP standards. &bull To respond in a timely fashion to breakdown conditions and work in such a way as to minimise downtime. &bull To support the Lead Engineer and others in the Asset Engineering Team and Operations teams as required achieving high levels of availability and plant integrity. &bull To provide maintenance cover throughout the working day and, at times, during out of hours working extended days and weekends.
