The Position
As an Senior IT Architect I at Novo Nordisk, you will oversee Backup technology within the Production Infrastructure unit, collaborating with the rest of the team. Your role includes supporting the technical and operational advancement of Backup technology and services. You will work within an agile framework as part of a product team, striving to meet the team 's goals based on the requirements of the Product Owner and Business Owner. Defining and continuously developing services within the Production Infrastructure Services and Systems area. Participating in key global projects in the infrastructure strategy.

Coordinating global projects approved by management. Collaborating closely with global peers and stakeholders.

Participating in building global roadmap for relevant technologies and processes. Evaluating feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapting them to Novo Nordisk usage globally.
:
Ensuring relevant input on Security items for IT Security. Establishing compliance documents for new services within responsibility area. Staying ahead on industry trends and assessing new products and technologies.

Defining and documenting future architectures and ensuring scalability. Developing global strategies and standards for Novo Nordisk global infrastructure.

Supporting the technical and operational development of the Backup technology and services. Working in an agile framework as part of a product team and working towards the team 's goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:

10 years of experience working within IT Infrastructure Operations and Technical Services.
:
8 years working with key stakeholders and decision makers outside India in a cross:functional, international environment.
:
Professional level certifications in backup infrastructure technologies.
:
Technical IT Infrastructure experience from an international service or consultancy firm.
:
Work experience and good knowledge in Infrastructure qualification, Compliance requirements in pharmaceutical industry, GxP knowledge will be an advantage.

Experience supporting CFR 21 Part 11 validated systems.

Solid understanding and work experience with Backup and Data protection operational support.

Extensive knowledge and hands:on experience in trouble:shooting Backup issues in tandem with Network/Application/Windows Operating system issues.

Solid understanding and work experience with data restores and Backup procedures for multiple platforms.
:
Solid understanding and work experience in Physical and Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, storage devices (EMC Data domain, EMC Isilon), Linux rhel.
:
Solid understanding of working with vaulting, storage unit management and VMware query:based backups.
:
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, AD(active directory), DNS(Domain Name System), SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), NTP (Network Time Protocol), IMAP (Internet Messaging Access Protocol) and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol.).
