Job Title : Senior product Designer Engineer
Job Summary
This job will work under the supervision of Manager. The person should understand and capable of reading/interpreting engineering drawing of tooling 's, workpieces required by customer. Should interact with Cross Functional Team like Product Engineering and Manufacturing to check technical and manufacturing feasibility to make the right tooling solution both technically and commercially..
He should also interact with field sales and application persons of Metal Cutting business for day to day activities in submitting the offer to customer requirements.

Interpretation of customer 's technical requirements for deriving required tooling solutions

Print reading, understanding of the outcome needed and translating that into a product with specifications.

Development /selection of best possible solution to meet customer needs and creating techno commercial quotations.

Creating complete technical proposal including all product features, estimating costing and source of supply.
:
Generating required commercial quotation document in SAP.
:
Interaction with Sales Team, Customer, or channel partners for collecting required information for proposal creation.
:
Interaction with Internal cross functions (Product Engineering, Product Management and Plant (ISCL)) for deciding feasible solutions.
:
Interaction with Sourcing Team for outsourced products.
:
Coordination with CSD counterparts, Global Pricing team and Trade compliance team on need basis.
SAP/PLM:

Creation and modification of MM in SAP P11

Reading and Understanding of Engineering drawing.

Basic interpretation of MM production status.

Able to find out Quote/Order number by using Drg. Number.

Know:how of transactions (VA03, VA23, MM03, MD04, CV04n, ZPP12...)
Analytical Skills:

Machining Knowledge:
