Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel 's India offices.
This position will start as an assignment in the Mumbai, India, Office prior to the receipt of the full notice to proceed from the Owner and will eventually transition to the job site for the EPC execution of the project.
Job Summary:
Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory or managerial position. Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi:area or a multi:discipline construction project. May be the primary client contact for all jobsite activities or may coordinate with clients resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to required safety and quality standards.

Receives technical and operational direction from the Site Manager.
B. Supervision Exercised
:
Provides technical and administrative direction to construction engineers, coordinators, administrators, and other construction contractor representatives as assigned.
C. Contacts
:
Jobsite contacts are with clients and their representatives, construction contractors, suppliers, design engineering, supply chain, planning, project management and others as assigned within the area of responsibility.

Office contacts are with all levels of construction, engineering, and other functional support groups.

Maintains continuous direct contacts with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Major Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of EPCM contractors, construction contractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within the area of responsibility.

Responsible for the field workforce organization to ensure the jobsite organization is comprised of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization.
